RE: Concerns about buying from a distant dealer?

When we bought our fifth wheel one of the selling points was that we didn't have to fool with the dealer. I talked to the manufacturer and explained the situation and they said I could do it myself, use a mobile tech or an independent shop. My camper never went back to the dealer in the six years that we had it. The manufacturer was true to their word.

RE: Demopolis AL to Gulf State Park

Most of our travels across the country have been on the byways. Had a dually and a 40 ft fifth wheel for most of it. We like the small town America routes. Looking at googles the byway route looks good but it's all in with your comfortable with.

RE: New to 5th wheeling

I've had a couple of MegaCabs and I would suggest an auto slider hitch like a Pullrite. You never have to worry about hitting the back of your cab in sharp turns. Also be very aware of tail swing.
